Hi, I’m Tara.

I believe there’s genius in every brain. My work is helping people and organizations discover human capability in the era of AI.

​

For more than 15 years, I’ve worked across HR, talent and leadership — partnering with leaders in municipal and provincial government, academia, engineering and private industry. I’ve recruited talent, advised senior leaders, supported people through change and had a front-row seat to how humans actually show up at work.

 

I have watched. Listened and have have learned something important along the way:

From admin to CEO, we are surrounded by people who think, process information, communicate, solve problems and contribute differently.

​

Unlocking that talent isn’t about putting people into more boxes or labelling them.  It is about #Normalizingmindsofallkinds in our workplaces and staying curious about what every employee needs to do their best work.

Today I work with leadership and facilitate workshops that discover human capability, build trust so amazing results can be achieved.

​

I am the proud curator of Athabasca University’s PowerED Neurodiversity in the Workplace CPHR credited continuing education course which brings together insights from more than 100 individuals I have interviewed to offer organizations practical strategies that can be implemented today that support increased productivity and engagement for all brains to thrive.

I am proud to have delivered over 50 presentations across Canada and speak regularly on neurodiversity and Human Capability Leadership, challenging organizations to get more curious about the people already sitting around their tables.
